Going Up

Table Mountain is one of the world’s most striking wonders. The Cableway cars hold 65 passengers and rotate through 360 degrees to give all the passengers a chance to enjoy the panoramic view.

“Wow – what a view”

It is not often that one sees view as good as those that appear in the publicity, but this was one of those rare occasions when reality match the ideal.

Table Bay

The whole of the Bay spread out before us with not a cloud in the sky.

Clifton

The exclusive residential area of Cape town.

Between the Peaks

The view of the surrounding countryside framed by Devil’s Peak and Maclear’s Beacon.

Robben Island

Robben Island in the Bay was the scheduled destination for our trip later in the day.
